Conceived by Dillard Paper Company—now Xpedx—in the late 1970’s, If It’s Paper was modeled after outlet stores offering commodities in bulk quantities as well as distressed and discontinued inventory. With prints, pastels, fine letterhead paper and envelopes, the store primarily served the small printer market in its infantile phase, but it has since added these products in response to consumer demand: catering and food service supplies, gift packaging, shipping supplies, party goods, personalized stationary, and wedding invitations and announcements.
The store closed in December 2010 but reopened just five short months later under new ownership. To this day, If It’s Paper maintains the primary goal of satisfying customer needs by remaining continuously responsive to the local market. |
